If you want to travel to unique areas of Europe, Portugal may be the place for you. This is another tightly crafted travel book from Frommer's that is jammed with detailed information.
Of course there are maps and details about Lisbon. But there are also sections on each of the major areas of the country -- shopping hints, where to stay, what to see, where and what to eat, and what to do. Places to stay include palaces, medieval monasteries, posh beach resorts and spa hotels. Activities include fishing, golf and horseback riding.
